Regular vs Extended License?

Regular License

When to choose:

  • You or your client will use the item in a single end product.
  • The end product is free or paid, but end users are not charged for access or downloads (example: a website theme, company website, internal dashboard).

Limits:

  • You cannot resell, redistribute, or sublicense the item by itself.
  • Only one final product.

Extended License

When to choose:

  • You want to include the item in something that users/customers pay for (example: a paid app, premium template, plugin for sale).
  • You want to sell the item as part of a project or make it available for multiple clients.

Includes all Regular uses PLUS:

✔ Commercial products for sale

✔ SaaS with paid plans

✔ Redistribution inside a paid product
